PRINCETON >> Chris Murdock tossed a two-hit shutout with eight strikeouts and one walk to lead Princeton Post 218 to its first victory, a 14-0, five-inning decision over Ewing Post 314 in Mercer County American Legion League action Wednesday at Princeton Day School.
Luke Franzoni paced Princeton’s offense by going 3-for-3 with two doubles, three runs scored and three runs batted in.
Zack Yoelson-Angeline and Thomas Ramsay also had three RBIs for Post 218.
Anthony Yarson and Nolan Brodsky had Post 314’s only singles off Murdock.

Jose Rodriguez doubled, scored a run and drove in two for Broad Street Park, while Kyle Harrington tripled, scored twice and had an RBI.
Nick Quercia went 2-for-3 with a double, three runs and an RBI for South Brunswick. Chris Perdoni and Nick Campigotto each added two hits and an RBI.
