British WWE superstar Paige shocked fans when she introduced a devastating and beautiful new faction to Raw last night.

The 25-year-old, from Norwich, England, has not been in action in more than 16 months, after a year of injuries and troubles out of the ring.

She put all of that behind her in a triumphant return to WWE's flagship show and brought two friends from NXT to the party.

But who are Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, and what can fans expect from this wrestling pair now they have allied themselves with Paige?

Paige suddenly appeared during a four-way match to determine the new no.1 challenger to Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss.

She told the audience at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas "I'm back" before mysteriously adding: "But I didn't come alone."

The ex-Divas Champion then stormed the ring alongside NXT talents Rose and Deville - making their main roster debut.

The trio destroyed Sasha Banks, Bayley, Mickie James and Alicia Fox, then headed backstage where they launched a brutal attack on Bliss.

Rose was the runner-up in WWE's reality TV series Tough Enough in 2015, having previously won world bodybuilding and fitness titles.

The 26-year-old, real name Amanda Saccomanno, from Westchester County, New York, then signed a contract with WWE that same year.

The Italian-American, who has a degree in speech pathology, started her training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

There she was coached by legendary WWE Women's Champion Lita, plus Hall of Famer Booker T and D-Generation X member Billy Gunn.

Rose first appeared on television alongside Sonya Deville and Alexa Bliss in a six-woman tag team match on an episode of NXT in August 2016.

The fitness magazine cover star competed in her first televised singles match on NXT in September, in which she was defeated by Ember Moon.

But that turned out to be her last broadcast appearance on NXT, as Rose was not featured on TV again before her surprise main roster call-up.

An athletic powerhouse who stays in shape with dance, yoga, Pilates and CrossFit, Rose has been nicknamed 'The Golden Goddess'.

The 5ft 4in superstar's finishing move is the Rose Thorn, a sitout lifting double underhook facebuster, which Mickie James tasted last night.

Fans of Total Divas will also have seen her in the fifth series of the reality show, when her relationship with her boyfriend Michael was featured.

Deville, real name Daria Berenato, is a 24-year-old former judo competitor and MMA fighter, from the Shamong Township in New Jersey.

'The Jersey Devil' was also part of Tough Enough in 2015, when she finished 11th, but then signed with WWE in October that year.

Benefiting from the same trainers at the Performance Center, she too made her television debut in the six-woman clash with Rose and Bliss.

Her first televised singles match didn't come until December last year - losing to Billie Kay - before she was repackaged as Sonya Deville in May.

She then began a winning streak, defeating four opponents, before losing a triple threat match and the chance to compete for NXT's women's title.

The 5ft 7in competitor, who had a 2-1 record in MMA fights, incorporates many mixed martial arts moves into her wrestling matches.

These include the Kimura lock, triangle armbar, body scissors, double leg takedown and a variety of knee strikes and kicks.

She previously co-presented the YouTube show UFC AfterBuzz and is also WWE's first openly lesbian performer.
