Joanna Gaines shares husband Chip's unique birth tradition... as he cradles newborn son Crew
Little Crew is the fifth child for Joanna Gaines and husband Chip.
And as she shared a sweet picture of father and child, former Fixer Upper star Joanna revealed the unique tradition with which her husband welcomes each infant.
Writing on her Instagram account on Friday, Joanna explained: 'Chip started a tradition with Drake where he wore the hospital bracelet until it fell off... looks like the tradition lives on. #5.'

Earlier this month, Kansas native Joanna announced the arrival of her fifth child in an Instagram post.
'Our baby boy, Crew Gaines, is here and we couldn't be more in love,' the 40-year-old began, in a photo collage.
'He made an unexpected (and speedy) entrance into the world two and a half weeks early - which is fitting given he was a sweet surprise from day one. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. We are so grateful.'

After welcoming her son, Joanna explained how having a newborn in the house made her feel young.
'I have forgotten almost everything, so it feels brand-new,' she told People magazine.
'I tell Chip that I feel 25, and in my mind there's something about it that gives me an extra kick in my step. Forty and pregnant … who would have ever thought that was going to happen? But I'll take it!'
The choice of the name Crew is a break in tradition, since the boys in the family have names beginning with D.
His birth came at a good time for the couple, as they now have more time to devote to their family, after wrapping HGTV's reality show on April 3 after five seasons on air.
