'I used to get quite upset about my appearance': MAFS star Alycia Galbraith reveals she lost over 30 kilos to become a TV bride...after admitting she's had her vows 'written for years'
She's the Married At First Sight contestant who's had her vows written and wedding planned since the age of 11.
And although she's had a clear vision of her 'fairy tale wedding' since she was a little girl, it hasn't been a completely smooth ride for Alycia Galbraith.
Speaking to Woman's Day on Monday, the 29-year-old revealed she'd shed 30.5 kilos over the last six years and had finally reached self-love.

Ready to walk down the aisle! On Monday, MAFS bride Alycia Galbraith opened up about her 30.5 kilo weight loss in preparation for her TV debut
'I used to get quite upset about my appearance, but I reached the epitome of self-love when we filmed the MAFS promo ad,' she said.
'I had a weird and wonderful experience when I saw my stunt double, and couldn't believe I looked like her.'
And weighing a healthy 67 kilos now, Alycia said it was during a holiday to Thailand in 2011 that she decided once and for all to turn things around - due in part to criticism from a bad boyfriend.
Feeling happy: 'I used to get quite upset about my appearance, but I reached the epitome of self-love when we filmed the MAFS promo ad'
'I was in a bad relationship, and he used to put me down about my weight,' she confessed to the publication.
While the relationship didn't last, Alycia kept her word and enrolled in a fitness course to educate herself - before losing 12 kilos in the first three months.
Now ready for love, Alycia appeared in a somewhat cringe-worthy audition tape released by the reality show last month.
Ready to go! Seen sitting in-front of casting agents, Alycia admitted: 'I've have had my wedding vows written for years and years and years'
Seen sitting in front of casting agents, Alycia admitted to camera: 'I've have had my wedding vows written for years and years and years.'
It immediately piqued producers' interest, who asked if she had them with her.
'It's in my phone I can read it. It's a bit mushy?' she replied sounding somewhere between embarrassed and excited.
'We are all on our own paths and all our our own journeys, but sometimes those paths cross,' she began.
Alycia continued: 'And people arrive at the crossing points at the same time and meet each other.'
All she needs is her husband! She's the Married At First Sight contestant who's had her vows written and wedding planned since the age of eleven
